  • Recommendation:

    That Essex County Council adopt By-law # 21-2018 authorizing the Warden and the Clerk to execute the Clinical Connect Participation Agreement on behalf of the Corporation of the County of Essex.

Report Number 2018-0418-IS-R011-TRB, dated April 18, 2018 from Tom Bateman, Director of Infrastructure Services/County Engineer.

  • Recommendation:

    That Project Number – 648-2018 – County Road 34 Culvert over Wilkinson-Shilson Drain be awarded to Southshore Contracting for a total tender amount of $649,265.00, plus HST.

  • That County Council approve the addition of a Facility Supervisor position for the Civic Centre / Infrastructure Services operations and support for EMS facilities operations and maintenance, as well as facilities health and safety requirements.

  • Recommendation:

    That Essex County Council support the joint proposal to the Smart Cities Challenge by Infrastructure Canada, due on April 24, 2018, with the City of Windsor and that Essex County Council forward a letter in recognition of its support.

A free Candidate Information Session is being held for anyone interested in finding out more information about running for office in the 2018 municipal election.

Individuals with prior municipal election candidate experience should also attend to learn about recent amendments to the Municipal Elections Act.

The Information Session will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Essex County Civic Centre (360 Fairview Ave. W., Essex, ON N8M 1Y6).
