  • Recommendation:

    That Essex County Council approve the transfer of funds from the Rate Stabilization Reserve to cover the cost of a regional insurance review/study.

    That Essex County Council award the tender for Project Number 118-2021 County Road 27 Culvert over Centre Branch No. 47 Drain to D’Amore Construction (2000) Ltd. for a total tender amount of $439,330.00 plus H.S.T.

Report number 2021-0421-ISD-R015-JM, Tender Summary – Culvert on County Road 42 – 4th Concession Drain, C-42-113, dated April 21, 2021 from Jane Mustac, Director of Infrastructure Services Department/County Engineer

  • Recommendation:

    That Essex County Council award the tender for Project Number 119-2021 County Road 42 Culvert over 4th Concession Drain to Matassa Incorporated for a total tender amount of $591,775.02 plus H.S.T.

Received e-mailed correspondence April 8, 2021 from Jenna Allain, Source Protection Coordinator, Thames-Sydenham and Region Drinking Water Source Protection Committee advising that a representative for the joint seat representing Elgin, Essex and Chatham-Kent requires a nominee to be put forward, either jointly for separately by each municipality. The incumbent, Brent Clutterbuck from the Township of Southwold is interested in serving another term.  Mr. Clutterbuck as served as the representative since the inception of the Committee in 2007.

  • Recommendation:

    That Essex County Council nominate Mr. Brent Clutterbuck from the Township of Southwold to the Thames-Sydenham & Region Source Protection Committee as the representative from Elgin, Essex and Chatham-Kent. 

  • Recommendation:

    That By-laws 2021-16 and 2021-17, having been read a first, second and third time, be finally passed and enacted. 

Being a By-law to Authorize the Purchase Lands for the Construction of an EMS Facility in the Town of Kingsville.
