  • Recommendation:

    That the minutes of the May 16, 2018 Regular Meeting of Essex County Council be adopted as presented.

Members of the Essex County Accessibility Advisory Committee to make a presentation to County Council regarding Access Awareness Week.

Theresa Marentette, Acting CEO and Dr. Wajid Ahmed, Acting Medical Officer of Health to speak to County Council regarding an Oral Health Report.

  • Recommendation:

    That Ms. Marentette and Dr. Ahmed be permitted to address County Council.

Kim Casier, Oral Health Manager to speak to County Council regarding oral health services provided in the County by the Oral Health Department.

  • Recommendation:

    That Ms. Casier be permitted to address County Council.

Tamara Stomp to speak to County Council regarding the Health Unit's Oral Health Report and recommendations.

  • Recommendation:

    That Ms. Stomp be permitted to address County Council.

Kim DeYong to speak to County Council regarding the Health Unit's Oral Health Report and recommendations.

  • Recommendation:

    That Ms. DeYong be permitted to address County Council.

Richard St. Denis, Past Director of Great Lakes United Lake Erie Region, Board Member (Treasurer) of Prevent Cancer Now and Local 444 Environment Committee Member, to provide County Council with additional information regarding fluoridation of the water supply.

    That Mr. St. Denis be permitted to address County Council.

Dr. Anne Young, on behalf of local pediatric dentists to speak to County Council regarding the Health Unit's Oral Health Report.

  • Recommendation:

    That Dr. Young be permitted to address County Council.

  • Recommendation:

    That the tender for the CWATS Active Transportation Pathway on County Road 2 be awarded to Amico Infrastructure Inc. for a total tender amount of $1,130,035.00 plus H.S.T.

Report Number 2018-0606-IS-R017-TRB from Tom Bateman, Director of Infrastructure Services/County Engineer.

  • Recommendation:

    That Project Number 691-2018 – County Road 20 Culvert over South 7th Concession Road Drain be awarded to Southshore Contracting Inc. for a total tender amount of $397,325.00, plus HST.

    That Project Number 689-2018 – County Road 27 Culvert over Cottam Outlet Drain be awarded to Southshore Contracting Inc. for a total tendered amount of $467,888.00 plus HST.

  • Recommendation:

    That By-law 27-2018, having been read a first, second and third time, be finally passed and enacted.
