Received a copy of the joint application of SMART Windsor-Essex to Infrastructure Canada's Smart City Challenge which was submitted on April 24, 2018. 

  • Recommendation:

    That the SMART Windsor-Essex application for Infrastructure Canada's Smart City Challenge be received for information.

Received e-mailed correspondence April 3, 2018 from Jenna Allain, Source Protection Coordinator, Thames-Sydenham and Region Drinking Water Source Protection Committee advising that a representative for the joint seat representing Elgin, Essex and Chatham-Kent requires a nominee to be put forward, either jointly for separately by each municipality.  The incumbent, Brent Clutterbuck from the Township of Southwold is interested in serving another term.

Chatham-Kent Council has endorsed the nomination of Brent Clutterbuck.

  • Recommendation:

    That Essex County Council nominate Mr. Brent Clutterbuck from the Township of Southwold to the Thames-Sydenham & Region Source Protection Committee as the representative from Elgin, Essex and Chatham-Kent for a second term.

  • Recommendation:

    That By-law 23-2018, having been read a first, second and third time, be finally passed and enacted.
